March Highlights

It’s been another busy period for the team, with a strong mix of live event delivery, industry recognition, and continued development across the business. In this edition, we cover recent projects on site, highlights from awards evenings, introducing a new team member, and looking at what our BAFTA albert accreditation means in practice.

UK Open Darts🎯

The team was on site in Minehead for the UK Open Darts, delivering the structural and technical build that underpins the arena. This included staging, truss structures, camera platforms, commentary positions, lighting infrastructure, pipe & drape, and full power and AV distribution.

This framework provides the foundation that allows production and broadcast teams to focus on delivering the event, with confidence that the core infrastructure is in place and performing throughout. It was a strong collective effort across the build, show, and derig phases to bring everything together on site.

Crufts 🐕

We supported Diana Keen and the team at Sunset + Vine at Crufts with lighting truss installed across Halls 3 and 3A, a studio truss in the LB Arena, and pole and drape throughout key areas of the venue.

With so many animals on show, it’s fair to say the team’s attention may have been elsewhere once things were up and running – which explains the lighter-than-usual photo selection.

European Open Pool 🎱

The first Nineball event of 2026 took the team to Sarajevo, Bosnia, for the European Open Pool Championship.

The project involved delivering the staging and technical infrastructure that supports the tournament, including the feature table set and lighting, additional table layouts, practice area lighting, walk-on trussing, AV and power distribution, carpet, and wider venue support throughout.

Alongside this, we worked closely with local teams on the ground to coordinate delivery and installation, while also providing logistical support to move both client and contractor equipment from our base in Treswell all the way to Bosnia.

As with all international events, it required a coordinated team effort across the full duration on site. It was another strong Nineball event to be part of, and we’re proud to provide the infrastructure that enables world-class competition on an international stage

Welsh Open Snooker

The Welsh Open Snooker took place at Venue Cymru, with the team delivering the technical infrastructure that supports both live competition and broadcast production.

The scope included arena and practice table structures, lighting and drape trussing, ground-supported solutions for broadcast positions, and the full cabling infrastructure required to support camera placements, commentary areas, and live television production across the venue.

This setup provides the foundation for smooth integration between the event and broadcast teams, ensuring the environment is fully supported throughout the tournament.

Recent Awards Nights🏆

It’s been a great couple of evenings for the team, spanning both industry recognition and support for our local business community.

At the Event Production Awards, Rosie and Shaun represented the team as we were shortlisted for Best Staging Provider. While we didn’t take home the award on this occasion, it’s a strong acknowledgement to be recognised alongside leading names in the industry.

Closer to home at the North Notts Business Women Awards, we were proud to support the event as sponsors of the Outstanding Employee Award, with Rosie presenting on the night. Helen also took to the stage to present the Businesswoman of the Year award, contributing to what was a fantastic evening celebrating local talent and achievement.

🌟 Team Member Spotlight 🌟

Laura Bannister – Event Coordinator

As Event Coordinator, I work with the clients from initial enquiry through to the delivery of the event. This involves quotes, scheduling, liaising with broadcasters, subcontractors and being a point of contact for clients to ensure the smooth running of the event. I’ve come from a Weddings background, working in the industry for over 10 years so I would say attention to detail is my strength.

Outside of work, I spend most of my time with my daughter and enjoy making the most of being at home. I’m currently pouring my energy into renovating our cottage, which ties in with my love for interiors and styling. I also enjoy time in the garden – although I’m still learning as I go! Overall, I’d say I’m very much a homebody, happiest creating and improving my space.

Hidden Risk in Production Logistics

In live broadcast and event production, delays or misalignment in delivery can quickly impact the wider build and add unnecessary pressure on site. Equipment, infrastructure and crew all need to arrive exactly as planned, ready to integrate seamlessly.

By managing storage and transport in-house, we’re able to keep control from warehouse to site, with every movement planned and visible throughout.

The result is a more reliable, joined-up process – where equipment arrives on time, correctly prepared, and ready to go.

For productions where logistics is critical, getting that part right makes a real difference to delivery on the ground.

Achieving Albert Accreditation🌱

Sustainability is increasingly becoming a standard expectation across broadcast and live production. It now extends across the full process – from planning and design through to build, transport and on-site operations.

We’re pleased to have achieved BAFTA albert Supplier Accreditation, reflecting the systems and processes already embedded across the business. This accreditation helps formalise and evidence the work already taking place behind the scenes, aligning it with recognised industry standards.

We’ve put together a short case study that explains this in more detail and the impact it has across the productions we support. You can read it here.
