Spotlight on Sheffield!
Our stint in Sheffield has come to an end with over a month on site at The Crucible for the World Championship Snooker and the World Seniors Snooker Championship!
As well as supporting WST with the planning, designing, and scheduling of contractors for the World Championship, our crew were on site installing rigging, screens, camera tower, presentation positions and studio for WST, IMG and Eurosport.
The 2024 World Championship Snooker also saw the introduction of a brand new LED screen set designed and manufactured in our workshop back at base in Treswell!

Trans-Sport.tv arrive at The Crucible in Sheffield for the World Snooker Championship!
Over the past few years the Triple Crown snooker events have been given an LED upgrade with the World Championship being the final event to follow.
The Crucible is an intimate venue with specific parameters to work to meaning the design of the new set had to planned with intricate detail to ensure it fit into the fabric of the auditorium. Months in planning saw the ambitions of WST, and the creativity of our design and manufacturing team come to fruition on the 20th April 2024 when the World Championship went live.
A huge thank you also goes to the team at PRG who assisted all the way through from the initial design and testing phase to supply and install.
The end result saw this prestigious event, and iconic venue, shown off in all its glory!

Winter Gardens
The World Championship Snooker doesnât stop at the doors of the Crucible – flowing right through Tudor Square and into the Winter Gardens where you will find the BBC presentation position and the Cue Zone.
Our team supply and install a free standing ground support truss and set area for IMG, manage power distribution and install branding and framework to create the BBCâs iconic show from the Winter Gardens.
