Thank you for your interest in freelance driving work with Trans-Sport.tv. For over thirty years we have delivered the technical rigging, camera platforms and fabrication behind some of the country’s best known live sport, broadcast and event productions, working across the UK and around the world.
We work with experienced freelance HGV Class 1 drivers to support our transport operation, particularly during major event builds and busy periods. We do what we say, we work as a team, and we take pride in being professional, and we look for the same in the drivers we work alongside.
About the work
The work covers nationwide UK deliveries alongside European travel, moving event and broadcast equipment to venues across the country and beyond. No two weeks are the same, and work can be planned well in advance or arranged at shorter notice, so flexibility helps. To work with us on a freelance basis, you will need:
- A valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- A valid Driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph card
- Your own appropriate insurance in place
- Demonstrable Class 1 experience, including both UK and European work
- Flexibility to work across a seven-day operation, including availability for nights out
We offer competitive freelance rates, from ÂŁ200 per day. Drivers invoice for completed work in line with our standard payment terms.
