Q School is the event that kicks off the snooker calendar. Delivered for World Snooker Tour at the Mattioli Arena in Leicester; our role was to design and deliver the venue infrastructure required to transform the arena into a professional multi-table tournament environment, supporting players, officials and event operations throughout the competition.
From the initial build through to the final day of play, our delivery covered a complete rigging and infrastructure package across both tournament and practice areas. This included truss systems for Tournament Tables 1 to 8 and the practice tables, seating decks, perimeter boarding and pipe and drape installations. Alongside this, we provided full AV and power distribution throughout the venue, ensuring every competition area was equipped with the reliable infrastructure needed to support one of the sport’s biggest qualifying events.
